Gicleé (pronounced zhee-clay, a French term meaning ‘spray of ink’) is a printing process developed in the late 1980’s. This new technology recreates virtually every subtle nuance of the original artwork, delivering crisp detail and intense color.

Because fine art giclee printers use digital technology rather than plates, the resolution is vastly superior to that of lithographic (offset) reproductions. Artists and art buyers appreciate the feel of the archival papers and are impressed with the high degree of detail and brilliant color saturation.

I select only acid-free, museum quality fine artists’ papers for these reproductions. The company that prints these pieces for me uses state of the art digital equipment that insures that in a folio of 250, the last image is as crisp and true to the original artwork as the first.

Giclee prints of many of my paintings are available in my online store.
